I feel satisfied that I have found, by my own labor and honest striving, under the blessings of an all-wise God, what I could not receive from any other man, the clear, rational conviction of the truth, as it is found in the religion of Christ. This conviction I wish others to share with me. Not that I expect to con vert great masses of unbelievers by logical argument; but I believe that I have furnished a lever, by means of which one of the rocks of stumbling, misunderstood science, can be moved out Of the track of spiritual ad vancement. I believe that I see the truth more clearly than ever, and I want others to share in my happiness.
