The local schools, although governed by independent local committees, are conducted on the plan and principles Of the Society: the Schools in the immediate neighbourhood of London are regularly inspected once in three months, under the direction Of the Parent Society, and those in the country receive visits as frequently as practicable: 213 schools, containing scholars, are under the supervision Of the London Inspector.
